To love...or not to love

I wonder
Is it worth it?
To pursue "true love..."
Seems like
It isn't really
That much to speak of
Sure, it's great
When things are going well
When you're both on the same page
But when you fight
You never even agree
Is there even any love left to save?
So much tears and heartbreak
Go into this "love"
It doesn't seem like it's worth it
Why not just have a cheap thrill
Every once in a while
That won't make you feel worthless
For love is the hardest
Of any shocking surprise
It leaves you with your heart unmendable
So why don't we just screw it
And go on with our lives
Be with the ones that are expendable
